New national valve standards are approved

Rosstandard approved the new national valve standards:

• ГОСТ Р 55508 2013 Pipeline valves. Technique of the experimental definitions of hydraulic and cavitation characteristics (Order No 527-ст dated 20.08.2013)
• ГОСТ Р 55509-2013 Pipeline valves. Metals used in valve industry. Main requirements for metal selection (Order No 528-ст dated 20.08.2013)
• ГОСТ Р 55510-2013 Pipeline valves. Rotary type actuators. Connecting sizes (Order No 529-ст dated 20.08.2013)
• ГОСТ Р 55511-2013 Pipeline valves. Electric actuators. General specifications (Order No 530-ст dated 20.08.2013).

All standards are put in force on February, 1, 2014.
