Over 65 years CKBA carries out its activity in valve development, design and manufacture, as well as in standards development and engineering expertise.
Over the years different CKBA divisions successful cooperate with plants and factories being busy in such industries as nuclear power, shipbuilding, oil and gas production, oil and gas downstream, chemical industry, heat and power engineering and others.

- Manufacture and valve complete deliveries
Production facilities and the cooperation with Russian and foreign plants and enterprises allow CKBA to supply both for Russian and abroad the wide range of standard, special and tailored pipeline valves.
- R & D
The most important activity line was and is the research and development works. Pipeline valves are developed and set up in production both as batch and tailored production. CKBA develops and designs pipeline valves with different actuators as follows:
- Shut-off valves
- Control valves
- Safety valves
- Emergency shut-off valves
- Cryogenic valves
- Valves for ventilation systems
With a view to the further valve industry development CKBA permanently adopts the new material grades and coatings.
To increase valve and equipment safety and reliability CKBA studies the possibility to use Hi-Tech.
The challenge of valve diagnostics (technical serviceability and integral of valve parts) is thoroughly studied and diagnostic systems are implemented.
- Standardization
The Company has an authorship to over 50 international and national standards that are used by the most Russian and CIS plants. CKBA developed over 200 industry branch standards and CKBA Standards pertaining to pipeline valves.
- Expertise
The Company has Rostechnadzor license for technical expertise and estimation of safety operation of valves installed on hazardous industrial objects. As well as CKBA has a right to expertise the plant readiness to carry out the licensing activity with regard to valve industry.
